Michael has been working, performing, and teaching within the field of performing arts for almost 20 yrs. In the last 5 years, he has learned that working, teaching and inspiring youth is not only a forte of his, but passion. He has since put his focus into helping create an organization that not only tries, but also succeeds in empowering the Latino community through their young artists. His experience in the arts gives him a unique insight into bridging the gap between running a company and helping it accomplish its mission within the arts. He also continues to focus on his performing and choreography career as Dance Captain, Fight Captain, and principal understudy in the hit Broadway Musical "In The Heights." This is the fifth Broadway show he has been a part of and has shared the stage with such greats as Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Gloria Estefan, Mariah Carey, Brian Adams, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Keith David, Elizabeth Parkinson, and many others. What he is amazed and thankful for is that the time and energy he has put into R.Evolución Latina has reminded him and shown him a new sense of pride in his community and culture.
